Who Is Mr. Patloo?
Muhammad Ansar Jutt, known online as Mr. Patloo, became famous through live-streaming on TikTok. His funny, lighthearted chats with foreigners went viral and earned him recognition as an international TikTok star. He currently has about 2.5 million followers on the platform.
How Social Media Reacted
Reactions were harsh. Many users criticized the crowd for chasing a lucky draw and others used the incident to complain about public priorities. Some commenters questioned Mr. Patloo’s fame and credibility, while others blamed news channels for giving prime-time coverage to what they called unimportant stories.
These are opinions from social media users, not findings about what caused the stampede. Crowd surges at free-prize events can happen anywhere when venues are too small or crowd control is weak.
Why Crowd Safety Matters
Events that promise prizes or celebrity access can draw far more people than expected. Safe planning usually involves limiting entry, setting up barriers, providing clear exits and coordinating with local authorities. Whether any of that was in place here hasn’t been reported.
