Experts Join Nida Yasir on Good Morning Pakistan

Popular morning show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir on ARY Digital, is known for its diverse and engaging segments featuring celebrities, doctors, and lifestyle experts. In a recent episode, Nida invited renowned health and wellness experts — Dr. Bilquees, Dr. Batool, and Dr. Sidra — to share practical natural remedies for managing pain, stress, and anger in daily life.

The episode focused on holistic healing and highlighted how simple lifestyle changes and natural ingredients can improve both physical and emotional well-being.

“Eat Your Stress” — A Modern Approach to Anger Management

While discussing anger management, Dr. Batool introduced an interesting concept she called “Eat your stress.” She explained that anger and stress are interconnected, and managing them through food can help regulate mood.

“When angry, your happy hormones drop. Eating fruits like banana, guava, or apple with a sprinkle of lemon juice or salt can boost serotonin and melatonin levels,” she said. “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also advised that if you’re angry while standing, sit down — and if you’re sitting, stand up, or drink water.”

This natural and faith-inspired advice resonated deeply with the audience.

Home Remedies for Pain Relief

Dr. Bilquees shared an easy yet effective remedy for body pain. She suggested using bitter gourd (karela) juice as a natural pain reliever.

“Chop a karela, extract its juice, and apply it to the painful area,” she advised. “It helps reduce inflammation and gives instant relief.”

For migraine and tooth pain, Dr. Batool recommended using ice therapy. Placing ice at the back of the ears or affected area can quickly relieve discomfort without relying on painkillers.

She also suggested using roller pins for arthritis and peppermint oil for headaches, emphasizing natural, non-toxic ways to manage pain.
